In the spring of 2020, with the help of a mutual contact, I sent James Austin of then-Terabyte Records a message, detailing my love for drum n' bass music, as well as expertise in brand identity design.
A couple weeks later, he responded and we quickly hit it off.
And today, the new coat of paint adorns Tenfold Records.
Initially, we had two similar but also different visual directions. Fueled by both mine and James' curiosity, we decided to develop both fully, keeping them in the final identity and alternating between them.
Their default colours are black and white, but to differentiate between releases, events, and other things, duotone colour schemes can be applied.
Below you can see examples of the new brand identity. The scope of the work involved everything from cover arts themselves, to social media templates, music visualisers for teasers as well as YouTube uploads, and physical promotion material such as flyers and posters.
As of the time of writing, live events in UK are not possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so designs for the events are only placeholders and will serve as templates for any future event designs.
